Know what’s paid before the customer leaves the counter
Paid-to-date and balance due live on the same repair order the bay is working — Pro tracks the money without pretending Stripe is included.
On Pro. Record payments against the invoice (cash, card recorded, check). Stripe Connect and text-to-pay are Elite.

Insights
Mystery leftovers are a counter problem
Most shops do not lose money because nobody collected a card. They lose clarity: the job is done, the customer is smiling, and nobody can say what is still owed without opening a second till app or a spreadsheet. Cash in a drawer, a card run on a square, a check “I’ll deposit later” — none of that is evil. It is just how mystery leftovers get born.
ShopRally puts paid-to-date and balance due on the same repair order the bay already works. That is payment tracking on Pro. You are not buying a checkout story we do not ship. You are buying a ticket that knows what was applied and what remains before the customer walks out.
If you have ever closed a day with a pile of “we’ll figure the balance tomorrow,” this page is for you. If you have ever been sold “payments” that meant a competitor’s BNPL or next-day cash pitch, this page is also for you — we will not claim those.
Pro $119 / Elite $239 / Ultra $319, month-to-month, no lock-in. You do not buy Elite to know what is owed. You buy Elite when you want Stripe Connect card capture or a text-to-pay link for customers who are not at the desk. Ultra inherits those Elite rails once; there is no third payments SKU and no Apple Pay / BNPL / ARO as a sold ShopRally product.
Honest packaging
Tracking on Pro. Card rails on Elite.
The packaging honesty is the product. Prospects comparing ShopRally to a “payments suite” should leave knowing exactly what Pro does and what waits for Elite.
| Pro | Elite (Ultra inherits) | |
|---|---|---|
| Paid-to-date / balance due on the RO | Yes | Yes |
| Record cash / card (recorded) / check | Yes — tracking, not Stripe capture | Yes |
| Stripe Connect card capture | No | Yes |
| Text-to-pay / pay-by-link | No | Yes |
| Mystery leftover at the counter | Designed out via RO tracking | Same + remote collect when they are not at the desk |
Card (recorded) on Pro means you logged that they paid by card — against this invoice — so the balance updates. It does not mean ShopRally is processing that card through Stripe on Pro. Stripe Connect capture and text-to-pay are Elite. Ultra inherits those Elite rails once; there is no third payments SKU.
Counter path
From open balance to recorded payment
Not three interchangeable bullets. A counter path on the same RO.
1
Finish the work on the RO
Invoice lines and status live on the same ticket as labor and parts.
2
See what’s owed
Balance due is visible before the customer walks — not a drawer recon at close.
3
Record the payment on Pro
Apply cash, card (recorded), or check. You are tracking how they paid.
4
Collect remotely when Elite
Stripe Connect and text-to-pay / pay-by-link — not required to track money on Pro.
1. Finish the work on the RO. Invoice lines and status live on the same ticket as labor and parts. The counter is not inventing a second invoice in a till app.
2. See what’s owed. Balance due is visible before the customer walks — not a drawer recon at close. Paid-to-date sits next to it so “busy” and “collected” are not the same feeling.
3. Record the payment on Pro. Apply cash, card (recorded), or check against the invoice. You are tracking how they paid. Paid-to-date updates on the RO. You are not pretending Pro includes Stripe card capture.
4. Collect remotely when Elite. When the customer is not at the counter, Elite Stripe Connect and text-to-pay / pay-by-link help you collect without inventing a side process. Not required to track money cleanly on Pro.
Scope
What this is / isn’t
What you get
- Pro: paid-to-date and balance due on the RO; record cash, card (recorded), and check against the invoice.
- Elite: Stripe Connect + text-to-pay (Ultra inherits).
- The same ticket the estimates, job board, and Snapshot already know.
What this is not
- Not Stripe-on-Pro. Not a second till app.
- Not BNPL, ARO, or “next-day cash” competitor products we do not ship.
- Not QuickBooks. Counter tracking is ShopRally; QBO is an Elite books path after close — see the QuickBooks page (CSV/stub honesty lives there).
- Not Advanced reporting or a fake cash dashboard with invented trend %.
The honesty is intentional. We would rather be thin than sell a payments gallery we cannot stand behind. Snapshot can narrate collected next to open work; this page owns the deep balance and record-payment story. QuickBooks is books after close — if the QBO path is still CSV export, that page says so. We will not paper over it from Payments.

Founding shops get Pro, Elite, or Ultra at launch. Payment tracking is already on Pro — you do not buy a higher tier just to know what is owed.
