Digital estimates & invoices
Share the paperless estimate. They open it on their phone — no stack on the counter.
Pro: text or email to approve — not a two-way SMS inbox. Elite: two-way SMS texting + message templates.

You already wrote the estimate on the repair order. What you should not have to do next is print a stack, photograph a paper ticket, and text a blurry total while the car sits. Digital estimates & invoices on Pro share the paperless ticket from the same RO. They open it on their phone. They see the same labor, parts, and total the advisor walked. Then they can approve when ready.
This is the ticket before the tap. Approvals owns Approve and Sign & approve. This page owns the document they read first. It is not a chat thread. Pro send is text or email the link — not a two-way SMS inbox. When the counter needs conversation about the lines, that is Elite, and we will say so plainly instead of pretending the estimate is a messaging product.
If you have ever watched a printed estimate walk out of the shop and never come back, this page is for you. If you have ever confused “send the estimate” with “open a chat,” this page is for you. Paperless on Pro. Conversation optional on Elite. No Ultra estimate AI invented here.
Delight
The ticket they read, not the thread that chats
Most shops still share work the slow way: a printout on the counter, a photo of the ticket in a personal text, a dollar amount without the lines. “I’ll look at it later” with nothing to open. The estimate is done. The customer never saw the same document the advisor walked. The yes waits on a callback.
ShopRally puts the paperless ticket on Pro. You share the digital estimate — or later the invoice — from the repair order by text or email. They open a review surface on their phone: the same jobs, labor, parts, and total. Sharing does not mint a second document system. Jobs stay on one RO. Build stays on /features/estimates for the Operate workspace; this landing is the customer-facing share and review moment.
That honesty is the product. Prospects comparing ShopRally to a “texting CRM” should leave this page knowing exactly what the digital estimate is: a document, not a chat. Two-way SMS inbox and templates are Elite. Approvals is the tap that closes. Inspections can share evidence before the ticket — soft pair, not this spine. We will not invent Ultra estimate AI. We will not claim approve-twice-as-fast ROI percentages.
If you have ever reshot a paper ticket because the customer said they never got it, this page is for you. If you have ever opened a messaging composer when all you needed was for them to read the lines, this page is for you. Digital estimates is the Pro paperless ticket in the Delight / revenue chain.
Channel gate
Pro document share vs Elite conversation
Both Delight pages that touch estimate→customer keep the gate visible. This page emphasizes the document. Approvals emphasizes the tap. Two-way SMS emphasizes the thread. Neither pretends the other product is included.
Pro · Digital estimate document
CR-V · $487
Labor, parts, and total from the same RO.
Pro is send-to-approve, not a two-way inbox.
“Are rotors included?”
Need to talk through the ticket? That's Elite inbox + templates — not required to share the estimate.
Two-way SMSWhen they're ready to say yes → Email & SMS approvals. This page = document; Approvals = tap / e-sign.
If the job is “get the paperless ticket on their phone,” Pro is enough. If the job is “answer why the rotors are on the ticket in a thread,” that is Elite. Ultra does not unlock a special digital-estimate AI — Ultra heroes live on Reviews drafts, after-hours SMS, and memberships.

Same RO lines on their phone
Product proof. The phone view is not a second estimate system. It is the same ticket the advisor wrote, shared.

SharedOne repair order. One ticket. Their phone.
Share the ticket from the RO you’re already on. They see the same totals you walked. Labor and parts lines collapse and expand as the product allows. Illustrative CR-V / $487 stays labeled as story chrome — chain continuity with Approvals Wave-1 is intentional, not a fake metric.
When work is done, the invoice twin uses the same paperless pattern: share link, open on phone, collect on the payments path without overselling Stripe text-to-pay on this page. Deep Stripe and text-to-pay are Elite payments packaging; Pro still tracks paid-to-date and balance due on the RO elsewhere. This landing stays on the document.
What this section will not mock: a chat composer as the estimate, an Elite SMS inbox as primary, fake “viewed in 12s” KPI dashboards, or a second document CMS outside the RO.
- Share the ticket from the RO you’re already on.
- They see the same totals you walked.
- Paperless on Pro — conversation is Elite if you need it.
- Approve is the next tap — see Approvals.
On their phone
On their phone: open, review, then the tap
This is the customer-first document journey. Approve is the paired closer — numbered here as the handoff beat, not a second Approvals page.
1
Advisor builds on the RO.
Jobs, labor, and parts stay on one repair order.
2
Send the link.
Email or SMS the digital estimate or invoice. Pro = send-to-approve.
3
They open on a phone.
Readable lines and totals — not a PDF photo of a printout.
4
Review the lines.
Labor, parts, total. They see what they are looking at before any tap.
5
Approve when ready.
Handoff to Approvals: Approve or Sign & approve on Pro.

Invoice twin (when work is done).
Same paperless pattern: share link, open on phone.
1. Advisor builds on the RO. Jobs, labor, and parts stay on one repair order. Sharing does not mint a second document system. Light nod to /features/estimates workspace — do not duplicate that landing. This page starts when the ticket is ready to share.
2. Send the link. Email or SMS the digital estimate or invoice. Pro = send-to-approve path, not a two-way inbox. No reply field required to put the document on their phone.
3. They open on a phone. They tap the message. What opens is the digital estimate document — readable lines and totals, not a PDF photo of a printout, not an app download, not a login wall for a basic review.
4. Review the lines. Labor, parts, total. Optional soft context if inspection share was sent earlier — photos live on Inspections; do not restage a full DVI gallery here. They see what they are looking at before any tap.
5. Approve when ready. Handoff to Approvals: Approve or Sign & approve on Pro. Still not a chat thread. This page leads with the document; /features/approvals leads with the tap / e-sign.
6. Invoice twin (when work is done). Same paperless pattern for invoices: share link, open on phone. Pair payments tracking elsewhere without overselling Elite Stripe text-to-pay as a digital-estimates unlock.
Questions in a thread? Elite two-way SMS. Tap to approve? /features/approvals. This page is the paperless ticket they read first.
Same RO
Same RO, no second system
Live honesty expanded: the paperless share is not a parallel CMS. Advisors should not fear “where did that PDF live?” Jobs stay on the RO. Share is a link to the same work. Status writes back through the Approvals chain when they tap — Shared, then Approved or Signed — without inventing open-tracking analytics we have not confirmed.
The Operate build experience — matrices, labor, parts attach — stays on /features/estimates. Cannibalizing that landing with a full build tour here would blur the wedge. This page’s job is share and review. Keep the RO peek thin: enough to show Share digital estimate / invoice from the ticket they are on.

Pair Approvals: the ticket before the tap
Digital estimates and Approvals are one Pro chain with two page jobs. This page owns the document. Approvals owns the closer. Design should feel like siblings, not clones.
When they have read the lines, the next action is Approve or Sign & approve — e-sign included on Pro. You do not buy Elite to collect a signature. You do not open a chat composer to get the yes. Soft CTA into /features/approvals for the full approve journey: share, review, tap yes, board can match WIP.
Inspections remain soft: evidence before or beside the paperless estimate so they see why the lines exist. Inspection share can precede the ticket; do not merge pages.

Elite. Add conversation when the counter needs threads around the ticket — see Two-way SMS. Other Elite packaging stays on its own pages. Do not pretend Elite is required to share the estimate.
Ultra. No special digital-estimate unlock. Ultra heroes live on Reviews AI drafts you publish, after-hours SMS assistant, and Service Memberships. Do not invent Ultra estimate AI.
